Red alert in 12 out 14 districts following heavy rainfall and opening of shutters of more than 33 dams.
The death toll rose to at least 114, many areas are without power or drinking water, while more people are shifted to relief camps including 23,000 in Ernakulam.
Kerala’s flood scenario isn’t different that the floods of Jammu and Kashmir (2014)and Tamil Naidu’s(2015). At Mehaan Charitable Foundation (MCF)we have always been active of providing support and help to the interior parts of the disaster hit areas.
It is very important that your donations go in right hands and to the most needy ones. Mehaan has always been very clear in its intentions of providing whatever help and support we can provide to disaster hit areas be it nationally or internationally( Nepal earthquake 2015).

We try to map in local volunteers and organizations providing direct help to disaster hit areas.
Depending on the demand and need of the items required in the disaster areas , we are sharing comprehensive list .

Our Foundation, Mehaan Charitable Foundation ( MCF) DLF PHASE V, is engaged in Kerala flood relief support.

We trying to send relief material, medicines and donations to the following rescue shelters:

OUR WORK

Please join in for spreading and sharing the help numbers of the control rooms of the disaster management team.

Kindly note blindly dumping of goods and material becomes an added task for the volunteering organisations, disaster management teams and locals. Calculative and meticulous distribution of the relief material is the foremost step that helps and provides support to the relief providing drives.

Please note: we will not be taking clothes donation for this disaster relief drive.
